Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a lightweight double-stroller that folds, the size and weight are crucial factors to consider. Picking one that is easy to handle and compact when not in use will make it easier to place in the trunk of your car and maneuver through airport security and other foreign streets.
The most lightweight strollers have a light, intuitive fold and self-standing mechanism to reduce the strain on parents' bodies. Many strollers have multiple seating configurations and some are able to accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for families on the move. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seats allow children to weigh up to 50 pounds. Parent and child trays along with a large storage bin and 3-tier extended canopy with peek-a-boo window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest scores in our quality tests because it has a flimsy seat, made of hard plastic, and a design that appears outdated. It's also costly compared to other strollers that are lighter which is why it's not the best option if you're looking for a low-cost option.
It's not the most light stroller but it has enough features that it is worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make it easy to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low handle is a problem, however; it's nearly at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push with your legs hanging in the air and it's not helping that it lacks padding.

In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and opened. To close it, it's a bit more difficult. You have to slide the slider and then press the large white button. This can be a hassle especially if you're juggling kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a tiny but deep storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate an enormous diaper bag. The basket is narrow and you may have to put something in it to reach the back. The Cloud comes with a parent tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. Both are too small for larger cups or bottles.

The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's pretty similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have a few key differences. It's a bit more expensive but offers a more shady sun canopy and better maneuverability. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can accommodate children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a lightweight stroller packed with features. It is not only incredibly lightweight, weighing just 13 pounds but also has a lot of storage, including child and parent cupholders as well as a sippy-cup pouch for children as well as a pocket for storage for parents, etc. It can also be used with a child's seat and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that can be easily engaged. It's designed to grow with your child from a newborn stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
Another thing to note about this stroller is that it runs on swivel wheels and doesn't have any locking features therefore it may not be the best choice for rocky or sloping terrain. It's still a good choice for most families, as it can be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.

Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 double stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a lightweight double that can hold two kids. Its sling style seats are comfortable and offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This allows kids to sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it has a fully reclining seat, which makes it a great option for napping. Its recline mechanism is easy to use but doesn't go completely flat. Children who are taller might find they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a large canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking out the sun than other strollers in our evaluation of the top double strollers.
The stroller is light enough to be able to move through door frames. This was a major issue with other models we tested. It folds easily and the handlebars are located close to the ground. Its only drawback is the small storage space. When it is full of stuff for the kids it feels cramped.

In our tests in the lab we take into consideration a variety of aspects to assess the ease of use of a double stroller. This includes the ease with which it is possible to fold and set up, how easy it is to adjust the safety harness and how to open and close brakes. We also lift and carry the folded walkers as if they were being placed into a trunk and how to put in and remove a baby car seat, if it is needed. We also assessed the strength and durability and also whether the strollers have a parent tray which can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program due to its ease of use. It also received the top score in our latest guide to the best double strollers.
